Community Engagement
While studying Mental Health Counseling at Rollins, Rebecca served as the Graduate Assistant to the Office of Community Engagement. She participated in the facilitation of a “Safe Zone” training program. Safe Zone is designed to promote an alliance with the LGBTQ community both on and off campus.
Rebecca was hired by the agency to serve as a Primary Therapist at “The House Next Door” community counseling agency. There, she specialized in Couple’s Counseling and Anxiety Support Groups. Additionally, she worked extensively with the Sexual Abuse Treatment Program based out of Tallahassee, FL.
In 2017, Rebecca served as Clinical Director at I-Kare Treatment Center in West Palm Beach. There she supervised direct support staff and primary therapists in while overseeing treatment of clients with co-occurring substance abuse and mental health diagnoses.
Rebecca has lived in Florida for over 20 years.
